Aurora is the quietest of the York Region towns along the Yonge corridor and the one buyers most often describe as feeling established rather than built. It has a real historic core around Yonge and Wellington, a GO station, some of the best trail and greenspace access in the region through the Oak Ridges Moraine, and a housing stock that runs from century homes to executive subdivisions. It generally prices between Newmarket and Richmond Hill.
Character homes and mature lots in Aurora Village and the Town Park area, larger family homes through Bayview Northeast and Aurora Highlands, and newer executive product on the eastern edge toward the 404. The Aurora Heights and Regency Acres pockets hold some of the biggest lots in York Region for the money. Lot size and tree cover vary enormously street to street, which is exactly the kind of difference that does not show up in an online estimate.
Families who want York Region schools and a quieter town feel. Buyers who want trails and greenspace on their doorstep. Downsizers moving out of larger Richmond Hill or Markham homes who want to stay in the region. Commuters who need the GO line but want more land than Richmond Hill offers at the same price.
The Lawrence Group is a family team at RE/MAX Hallmark Realty Ltd. We market Aurora listings with video shot and edited in house. Our listing videos regularly reach tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of views across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, which puts your home in front of buyers who were not searching that week. More eyes in the first fourteen days is what produces busy open houses, real feedback and a faster sale at a stronger price. Staging, professional photography and video are included in our listing package.
Every Aurora listing below updates hourly from the board. For a free written home evaluation using the actual comparable sales on your street, see our home evaluation page or call The Lawrence Group at 416-930-5506.
